This standalone reader helps you recover a Dear Future preserved message using your recovery kit and recovery key. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Select the recovery kit text file you downloaded from your private receipt page. The reader will try to fill in the recovery details for you.

If you prefer, open your recovery kit file and copy everything between START_PRESERVED_PAYLOAD_JSON and END_PRESERVED_PAYLOAD_JSON into this box. You can also paste the full recovery kit text and the reader will try to find the record.

Paste the recovery key exactly as shown in your recovery kit. It usually starts with dfk_v1_.
